YOUTH IN NATURE NETWORK

"To inspire meaningful change, you must connect to the heart
before you can connect to the mind."
- George Couros

Youth in Nature Network (YINN) is a newly formed d/b/a operating under our parent company
Gardens for Growing Community
Why? Because we are expanding our scope of outreach!
We still offer urban farming programs and school gardening support; however, our youth are also kayaking, camping, planting trees and saving creeks, plus we're supporting conservation education around the world!

YOUTH IN NATURE NETWORK

Our Mission
To engage young people in ways that kindle a love for nature and empower them to become
the new generation of environmental stewards.

Our Vision
To be a global network of conservation visionaries who collaboratively teach, inspire and support young people
through nature-based learning.

Our Values
We believe it's critical for young people to feel more closely connected to nature, and that everyone should have equitable  access to outdoor experiences in settings that are inclusive, fun, purpose driven and inspiring.

SAVING A CREEK WHILE GROWING COMMUNITY
Restoring the most impaired tributary of the Chattahoochee River along its run through the metro region is daunting to most. Our team of partners has already won state and national awards for making the effort - this video tells the story of how we got started! Find out how we've engaged volunteers of all ages to save Crayfish Creek, and in doing so, are proving how grassroots volunteerism can change the world.
